In sterile pharmaceutical and injectable manufacturing, vial washing is a non-negotiable process that directly impacts product safety, regulatory compliance, and downstream sterilisation efficiency. An Automatic Tunnel Type Linear Vial Washing Machine is specifically engineered to deliver consistent internal and external vial cleaning at high speeds while maintaining strict hygiene standards.
Pharmaceutical production hubs across Great Britain—including London, Cambridge, Oxford, Manchester, Birmingham, and the broader Midlands life sciences corridor—depend on reliable linear vial washing systems to support continuous formulation and filling operations. Developed by Technogen Enterprise, this machine is designed to meet the demanding requirements of modern injectable plants.
An Automatic Tunnel Type Linear Vial Washing Machine is a conveyor-based washing system that cleans vials in linear intermittent motion. It performs multiple internal and external washing cycles using different grades of water, followed by sterile compressed air, to ensure complete removal of particulates and residues.
The system is suitable for glass vials commonly used in injectable formulations and supports production capacities ranging from low to very high throughput, depending on the selected model.
The washing process follows a controlled, multi-stage sequence:
Vial Infeed
Vials enter the machine via an inbuilt SS-304 wiremesh conveyor.
Internal Washing Stages
Vials pass through ten internal washing zones using recycled water, DM water, and WFI.
External Washing Stages
Two dedicated external washing zones clean the outer vial surface.
Sterile Air Blowing
Sterile compressed air removes residual moisture.
Controlled Discharge
Clean vials exit toward a sterilisation tunnel or collection trays.
All washing cycles, spray durations, and conveyor speed are electrically controlled and adjustable.
